Over one hundred years ago a group of experts came together to create a school for professional cookery. Among them were famous names like Auguste Escoffier, Cesar Ritz, Isadore Salmon, and Baroness Burdett-Coutts. At the time, many of London’s top hotels, including The Ritz (1906) and The Goring (1910), were opening, creating a demand for skilled chefs and hospitality staff.
The goal of the school was to inspire students in culinary arts and science. To help them gain real-world skills, a training restaurant was created. Today, this restaurant is known as The Vincent Rooms, a place where students refine their craft while serving the public.
We will be seated in the Brasserie. We will share this space with other members of the public as the cost of hiring the whole room is too high.
The three course course meal costs £45 per person, with gratuities at your discretion. Drinks are not included. All proceeds from this meal are reinvested in Capital City College to train the next generation of culinary and hospitality students.
We do not yet know the number of places per table, so will be working with the Vincent Rooms on table plans during November, and will do our best to accommodate any requests for seating with others.
